It’s simply not practical to install slab heating in a pre-existing home, but if you’re pouring a concrete slab for a new extension it might be something that you would like to include. In these situations, we can lay pipe work into the slab and install panel radiators in the existing part of your home.
As its name suggests, hot water concrete floor heating systems require a concrete slab – otherwise, there’s nothing to lay the pipe work into. If you’re building a brand-new double story or split-level home, consider slab heating on the ground floor and radiators across the rest of your home!
In systems where there is a concrete floor with underfloor heating and radiators are combined, a partage box is installed underneath the boiler. This allows the water to be directed to either section, as well as enables the possibility for different water temperatures between the various zones.
