Standard radiators are the most popular in Australia due to their availability, cost and simplicity. Cambro also offer options for designer radiators.
We mount our panel radiators to the wall in each room that you wish to heat, with piping through the flooring or roof space being used to provide the warm water. They then heat your home via radiation, raising the temperature to a comfortable living space that you’ll love spending time in.
Did you know that ‘central heating’ is a phrase that is simply used to describe the technique of heating your entire home from a single location? With our vertical radiators, the most common heat source is a gas boiler that generates warm water and passes it through pipes distributed throughout the home.
At Cambro, we ensure that our radiator heating systems are thermostatically controlled to ensure that your home is heated to your desired temperature. Adding thermostatic values also means that the radiators will be turned on and off when they reach this temperature – reducing energy consumption and cutting the costs of your heating bill.
When having a panel radiator system installed in your home, we also offer the option of having heated towel rails added to your bathrooms. Take advantage of a warm and cosy towel every time you get out of the shower, and reduce those winter chills.
With a huge range of benefits, radiators may be the perfect alternative to in floor heating – whilst still taking advantage of everything that hydronic systems have to offer. Providing independent temperature control, relief for allergy sufferers, and an even level of warmth throughout your home.
We offer a wide range of designs to ensure there is an option for every taste and architectural style. From traditional and ornate to sleek and modern, we work with you to choose the perfect piece for your home – whether you’re looking for a feature or something that hides in plain sight.
Available in a variety of sizes and styles, we’re confident there is a perfect fit for every home. There are around 120 stock panel sizes available in Australia (from 300mm to 900mm) and lengths of up to 3m. Other sizes are available upon request, however, there will be a longer wait and increased cost.
Our hydronic radiators come in the standard high gloss white colour as standard. However, if you’re looking to match to your existing colour scheme, a variety of colours are available from the Dulux powder coat range (from pearl white gloss through to grey nurse gloss) at an additional cost.
With professional installation available, you can be confident your new radiator system won’t only look its best, but will offer effective and energy efficient heating for years to come. With installation completed by our team of licensed plumbers and a generous workmanship warranty, Cambro is fully equipped to complete your project, from start to finish.
The short answer to this question is yes, there is no issue with placing furniture directly in front of modern radiators (meaning, this will not create a fire hazard). It will, however, restrict the circulation of heat around the room and the temperature of the room as a whole.
Alongside the 6-year workmanship warranty that we offer on our installation, radiators have their own manufacturer warranty.
